This T-shirt features a historic photograph of African American soldiers from the 369th Infantry Regiment during World War I, widely known as the Harlem Hellfighters.

At a time when the U.S. Army was segregated and Black soldiers were routinely denied combat roles, the 369th fought on the front lines under French command and spent more time in continuous combat than any other American unit.

They earned widespread respect for their discipline and courage, received numerous French military honors, and helped challenge racist narratives that questioned Black patriotism and capability. Despite their service, many returned home to discrimination, making their legacy one of sacrifice, excellence, and unfinished justice.
