Mary Fields, known as Stagecoach Mary, was the first Black woman star route mail carrier in the United States, delivering mail across rugged terrain in Montana during the late 19th century.
A former enslaved woman, she became known for her strength, independence, and fearlessness, using her stagecoach and rifle to protect the mail and herself in the American frontier.
This Black history t-shirt honors her legacy as a Black pioneer and celebrates her role in Western history as a symbol of resilience, grit, and self-determination.
